Mahina, a demigod, emerged centuries ago in the Hawaiian Islands. She became a protector of the islands, occasionally appearing as a woman, most often carrying a fireball, to ensure peace. When the breath of war touched Oahu in the last century, Mahina was shocked and angry. She aligned herself with the mortals called Americans, as they and their allies fought the enemy that brought pain and death to her beloved islands. Mahina still watches over the islands, ever vigilant against possible aggression.
