AI art 'Mega Tokyo 2032 AD File 2.2: The Chang Case Part 3' with user description 'Case File 2.2: The Chang Case Part 3 Classified: For Official Use Only Brian J. Mason—I need to have Chris run a background check on him; that guy has more to hide than I’m comfortable with. I’ll deal with that later, though; first, I should speak with the three women. There’s a park located in front of the Genom building; I hope they’re waiting for me there—I desperately need some answers. A few minutes later, I find the three of them. The woman who was attacked by... what was her name again? Oh, right—Amber. She is sitting on a set of stairs, visibly shaken; her face is injured, and tears are streaming down her cheeks. The other two look dejected; the woman with long brunette hair is still rubbing her neck. She’s lucky Amber didn’t break her neck. They notice me as I approach them. Hana: Thanks for waiting for me. I honestly didn't expect you to still be here. I’m Hana Amano—a detective with the Homicide Division of the AD Police. And you are? Sobbing, the woman on the stairs answers first, followed by the dark-haired woman. Irene: Irene Chang. Linna: I’m Linna, and this is Priss. We’re friends of Irene’s. The long-haired brunette looks at me with disdain but says nothing. She’s reckless—and that’s dangerous. I shouldn’t underestimate her. Hana: Okay. Would one of you please explain what happened back there in the lobby? I didn't realize what was going on until Irene was already on the floor and Priss was being strangled by that Boomer bodyguard. Yes—Amber is a Boomer. It’s strange: when I mention that Amber is a Boomer, Irene is the only one who adopts a look of concern; the other two don't seem surprised at all. Hana: Irene, what did you want from Mr. Mason? Irene: He was my husband’s supervisor. Roy was at the facility that exploded, and... Her voice breaks, and she begins to sob as her grief overwhelms her. Irene: I... still... haven't... heard... from him... Her composure shatters amidst her tears, and she simply weeps uncontrollably. Roy? Roy Chang? I read that name on the list of victims. She doesn't know yet... She came here clinging to the hope that he might still be alive. I walk over to her and take her hand. Hana: I’m so sorry. Your husband didn't survive the explosion. I don't know the exact circumstances yet, but his name was on the list of victims. The expressions on the other two women's faces darken; Irene looks to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown. By telling her the truth, I’ve stripped away the very last shred of hope she had that her husband was still alive. Priss: Oh, just great, Ms. AD Police. I’ve had enough—I’m leaving. Priss pushes herself away from the pillar she’d been leaning against and walks away. I don't stop her, as I’m still occupied with Irene. Linna, however, stays behind and walks over to join us. Linna: Please don't be angry with Priss. She... hasn't had very good experiences—neither with Boomers nor with the AD Police. Hana: I understand. Linna, right? Did Irene do anything that might have given Amber a reason to use force? Linna: No, she just briefly touched Mason on the arm, and then... Hana: I understand. Thank you for the information. Could you please look after Irene? She really shouldn't be alone right now. Linna: Of course. I’ll do that. Linna helps the still-sobbing Irene to her feet, says her goodbyes, and leads her away. I stay behind for a few minutes to gather my thoughts. Finally, I head back to my car. I bring up my holographic interface to document everything, then I send all the data to Chris; I’m hoping he can find a connection. A few days later: I encouraged Irene to come to the gym with me, and today, she finally worked up the courage to do it. She still isn't feeling well, but it’s a start; I can’t even begin to imagine what she’s going through right now. After we finish our workout, we linger for a bit to talk about Roy. Linna: I understand—he wanted to make more time for you once the project was over. Irene: The project was important to him, but... She gazes pensively at the ring she wears on her right hand. I touch her on the shoulder, and she looks up at me. Linna: I’m here for you, Irene. Come on, let’s take a shower, and then I’ll take you home. Irene: Thanks, Linna. What would I ever do without you? I offer her my hand; she takes it, and I help her to her feet. We both take a long, thorough shower; she seems to enjoy washing away all that heavy emotional baggage. It takes us about twenty minutes to get ready and leave the gym. We still have to walk through a section of the shopping street to reach the parking lot. Irene considers whether she needs anything else, but she doesn't stop at any of the stalls. I let my gaze wander over the merchandise on display. Suddenly, something catches her attention. Irene: Uh, Linna—tell me, isn't that your car getting towed right over there? Linna: What do you mean...? You reached the end of this file. Don't forget to close it if you are finished.'

AI art 'Mega Tokyo 2032 AD File 0: Prolog Part 1' with user description 'File 0: Prolog. Classified: Top secret. Mega Tokyo, metropolis, den of iniquity, home and meat grinder. That describes it best, a city leaded through mega-corporations that have no fear of the law. Corruption, murder, violence, and prostitution characterize these days. Recently, a new threat has been rapidly increasing. Androids, meant to ease our daily workload, are running amok. Officially, these berserk androids are called Boomers, the number of victims is terrifying the city. There are still no clues as to why they went berserk and left a trail of destruction in their wake. Rumors suggest that the mega-corporation Genom is involved. The AD police cannot prove any involvement to Genom, here too there are rumors about corrupt police officers in high positions. People who know too much disappear without a trace, carelessly whether they are corporate employees, scientists, politicians, military personnel, police officers, or just ordinary citizens who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. The government and leadership of AD police established a special unit to combat corporate terrorism. The status of this unit is classified as top secret. My name is Hana Amano and i'm a member of this squat. A childhood friend of me Ryu Yamamura was the leader of the squat, for me he was much more. There 6 more squat members beside who fight with us against the corporations. Our last mission against a Genom facility was a failure, we were betrayed by a member of our team. I was captured during the escape, they tourtured me for days and in a last act of violence they shattered me foreamrs and elbows. Short after that Ryu managed to rescue me, for arms all help came to late. The only thing that they could for me at the hospital was to amputate and replace them with cyberware. During the the recovery process i met the nurse Akiko Watanabe, she shares the fate than me. She lost her arms in a car accident, without her I would not have been able to overcome the mental trauma. In this time at the hospital, she became a close friend of mine. One day she gave a massage from Ryu, he went into hiding, the squat was disbanded. All left members will be assigned to other departments, in my case i was assigned to homicide. After 2 long month of recovery, i was finally discharged from the hospital. It's time to find the traitor and find out way he betrayed us. But first I have to start my service in the AD police homicide commission. You reached the end of this file. AI art 'Mega Tokyo 2032 AD File 1.1: The Body from Pier 17 Part 2' with user description 'Case File 1.1: The Body from Pier 17 Part 2 Classified: For Official Use Only Leon and Daley are on their way back to their car when: Daley: Something’s not right here. Leon: What do you mean? Daley: You saw the look on her face, didn't you? She’s hiding something that look in her eyes. Leon: Oh, come on, you’re overthinking it. She was nervous we were, too, on our first day. Now come on, the Boomer isn't going to clear all these cases by himself. Daley: Yeah... maybe you're right. Meanwhile... The darkness of the room is intensified by the absence of windows. A man enters; holographic monitors provide only a faint glow. He takes a seat in a chair facing a large screen, just as a deep voice resonates from the speakers. ???: Brian, what on earth was that idiot thinking, mentioning the OMS in front of her? Brian: Don't worry about it; I've already tied up that loose end. He’s among the casualties from Aqua City. ???: I expect never to hear another word about this. Do we understand each other? Brian: Of course. Progress on Project Red is coming along nicely; the initial test runs are promising. ???: Good. When can we test its full potential? Brian: Soon. I’ve already had the essential engineers and the materials for the prototype transferred to a different facility. ???: No loose ends, Brian! Brian: Understood. The monitor goes dark, leaving only silence in its wake. "Old fool... it won't be long now before I finally get you off my back." Back at the crime scene... Okay... deep breaths, Hana. He can't hurt you anymore. I steel my nerves and begin examining the body. Outwardly, I can’t detect any signs of violence, his mouth and trachea appear to be filled with water. That would point to drowning... Hmm... for someone who hadn't encountered him before someone who didn't know what he was... that would be a plausible conclusion. Wait... what is that on his neck? I tilt his head until I spot a small puncture mark, it appears to be situated directly over the artery and it's, at most, a few hours old. Perhaps just prior to the incident? I make a note of my discovery and decide to inform the medical examiner, perhaps he can confirm this. I look around for surveillance cameras how convenient, not a single one in sight. I doubt he was actually working here when the incident occurred, I suspect, rather, that he was simply dumped here. Be that as it may, don't expect any sympathy from me. I cordon off the crime scene and notify HQ that the body is ready for pickup; with one last glance back, I return to my car. Captain Tanaka send me message a short while later, and he shares my assessment—at least the official one. I’ll have to inform the Chief about this, though not today, my shift ended two hours ago. I stow my gear, get in, and drive off. I need to speak with Akiko, so I give her a call. Akiko: Hana, dear it’s good to hear from you. Hana: Hey Akiko, can we meet up this evening? Akiko: Sure, I’m off duty today. Did something happen? You... don't sound quite right. Hana: Let’s discuss it later not over the comms. Akiko: Sure thing. Should I bring some food, or shall we cook something together? Hana: Cooking sounds great. How about curry? Akiko: Okay, I’ll bring the ingredients. See you later, then. Hana: See you later. Akiko and I have become very close friends; if it weren't for her, I’d surely still be stuck in the hospital. The drive to the AD Police Tower passes without interruption. I head straight to the locker room and change out of my uniform. Now home quickly, i really need a shower... this time, I make sure to look out the door first, just to ensure I don't bump into anyone again. You reached the end of this file. AI art 'Mega Tokyo 2032 AD File 2: The Chang Case Part 1' with user description 'Case File 2: The Chang Case Part 1 Classified: For Official Use Only Two days have passed since the explosion. The fire department has now brought the blaze under control. The building is a genome research facility. We don't yet have any information about what was being worked on there. The corporations are doing everything in their power to keep us away from the building. I'm making a note to have an investigation carried out later in Gildenstein. The interior of the building resembles a ruin; smoke constantly rises from the rubble. The number of victims is still unknown, but it feels like I'm stepping over another body every two meters. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Shadows of ash on the walls where a poor soul has burned. The fire was so hot that only the shadow of the person remains. The smell of burnt flesh is everywhere. Destroyed machinery and equipment are scattered about. Small fires are still burning here and there; fire crews are already dealing with them. Those fools destroyed a large portion of the evidence with their firefighting efforts. So far, everything points to an accident, but I'm not so naive as to believe that. Especially since Leon and Daley are here too. Hana: Hey you two, what's the Anti-Boomer Unit doing here? Leon: Well, isn't that little Hana? Hana: I'm not little... Daley: He's just picking on you, Hana. We always investigate whether Boomers were involved in incidents like this. Hana: So? Were Boomers responsible for this? Leon: Good question. The fact that the Gemon idiots aren't letting us into certain parts of the facility is suspicious. Leon has a valid point there, which doesn't make things any better considering the damage the explosion caused to the surrounding buildings. Hana: Okay, let's gather as much evidence as possible so we can get those bastards. Leon: Sure, if a few suits lose their heads because of it, I'm in. Daley: I heard Genom is supposed to hold a press conference in an hour. Hana: Interesting, I'll check it out. Thanks for the info, Daley. Daley: You're welcome, Hana. Meanwhile. Priss: Linna, what's wrong? Don't dawdle. I have a performance later. Linna: Ahh, sorry Priss... That was Irene, i think. Priss: Irene? Linna: I know her from one of my fitness classes. Her husband works at the facility that exploded two days ago. She still hasn't heard from him. Priss: She didn't look very well. Maybe we should go and see her. Linna: Yeah, you might be right. Priss and Linna follow Irene, who's on her way to the press conference. I have to hurry, or I'll be late. I hope I get some new information about Roy's whereabouts today. When I arrive, the conference is already over. What am I going to do? Roy, where are you? What am I going to do without you? I fight back my tears; I've already cried so much in the last two days. Just then, I see Roy's supervisor, Mr. Masion. Maybe he can tell me something. I approach him and confront him. Irene: Mr. Masion? I'm Irene Chang, Roy Chang's wife. He was at the facility when the accident happened. Can... can you tell me if he's still alive? Brian: I'm sorry, I don't know who you mean. Irene: But you must know him. Roy always talked about you. Brian: You're wasting my time. Get out of my way. Irene: But... I grab his arm to stop him from leaving. The moment I touch his arm, someone punches me in the face. The force of the blow knocks me to the ground; my head is pounding. When I come to my senses, I'm lying face down on the floor, staring into the coldest pair of eyes I've ever seen. ???: Didn't you understand him? You little bitch. The woman looks down at me, tears streaming down my face. A new pain shoots through me as she grabs my hair and pulls me up. God... Priss: Hey, whore, go after someone who can fight back! ???: Then come if you dare. I need to buy Linna some time so she can get Irene away from here. Linna: Irene, are you hurt? I rush at her and attack. Damn, she's fast; she easily dodges my attacks. But not with me. I'll finish you off. My punch lands on her nose. She catches it effortlessly mid-movement and holds my fist in her hand. Her laughter sends a shiver down my spine, then she squeezes. I feel like she's breaking my hand as her other arm shoots out and grabs my throat. She's cutting off my air; my lungs are burning, and I can barely keep my eyes open... Daley was right; there really was a press conference, but once again, it was just corporate drivel. Then a scream cuts through the silence. A woman in a black dress has just knocked another woman to the ground, and two others rush to her aid. I have to intervene; I draw my pistol and fire a warning shot. A woman in a black dress has just knocked another woman to the ground, and two others rush to her aid. I have to intervene; I draw my pistol and fire a warning shot.
