Nightfall is a rogue cell of highly specialized soldiers, engineers, mechanics, biologists, botanists and geneticists that have banded together to investigate interdimensional phenomenon that have been occurring in areas around the northwestern coasts of North America. XGD, or Xenobiology Genetics Division, has been in "possession," of several samples of dangerous lifeforms from inside the phenomenon. They have been working to create powerful and durable soldiers with these genetic materials and specimen #A-058 is their first functional success.

These are my two favorite takes on her design, and I think I'm leaning towards #2 personally, just because it's more xenomorphic, or rather, less human
