Tigers, an iconic big cat for its beautiful stripes. Like human fingerprints a tiger never shares to same identical stripes. Its stripes are a form of camouflage that actually come from the pigmentation of their skin.

So are white tigers actually bengal tigers but because of a skin mutation their fur becomes white.

Unfortunately because of their fur and skin they are actively being illegally poached for it, on top of that they are also being driven away from their natural habitat and are kept in captivity in small enclosures.
