We heard a scream!ā€ With trembling hands, Ankha opened the door. Tara and her brother Terror2 stood there, both looking alarmed. The moment Tara saw Ankhaā€™s tear-streaked face and shaking body, she stepped forward and pulled her into a tight hug. ā€œYouā€™re okayā€¦ youā€™re safe,ā€ Tara whispered, rubbing her back gently. I donā€™t know what to do anymore.ā€ ā€œOh, Ankhaā€¦ā€ Taraā€™s voice was full of sympathy. She squeezed her friendā€™s hand. ā€œI wish I could make them stop. Have you tried anything that might help?ā€ ā€œNothing works,ā€ Ankha whispered, her voice cracking again. ā€œIā€™m so tiredā€¦ā€ Tara thought for a moment, then brightened. ā€œWaitā€”I have a friend who might be able to help with this kind of thing.
