OC: Queenpin ♥

Queenpin is the woman quietly sitting at the center of a city-sized web of money, businesses, favors, and relationships. She isn't interested in ruling through fear; she simply has an extraordinary talent for making things happen. Need financing for a project? She can arrange it. A permit is inexplicably stalled? She knows who needs a phone call. An important guest is visiting one of her casinos? She'll make sure they leave believing nowhere else treats them quite as well. Every solved problem creates another relationship, every relationship creates another opportunity, and somehow more and more of the city eventually finds itself moving through her. Her expectations are surprisingly uncomplicated: do your job well and enjoy the benefits of being on her team. She pays generously, surrounds her people with luxury, and respects competence without demanding theatrical displays of loyalty. Slender serves as her right hand, maintaining her schedule and handling conversations that aren't worth consuming her time. Heavy handles the physical world—doors, crowds, luggage, equipment, security, or whatever else might interrupt her train of thought. Even her personal harem consists of adult men who willingly chose their devotion to her, their matching gold chains representing a commitment they're proud to wear. Nobody is trapped in Queenpin's orbit. The remarkable thing is how few people have any desire to leave it. That philosophy extends to Queenpin herself. She's unapologetically feminine, indulgent, affectionate, and completely comfortable enjoying everything her success affords her. She can spend an afternoon inspecting a multimillion-dollar development in flowing clothes and red stilettos, an evening drinking champagne while Slender sleeps against her shoulder, and the rest of the night being thoroughly pampered by men who adore her. Tomorrow she'll wake up, cross her legs, check the schedule, and start moving money and favors around again. Queenpin doesn't need an iron fist to control her empire. She simply makes everything work—and being close to the woman who can make anything work is one hell of a place to be.
