Monsterification Contest Results!

it was genuinely so hard to rank them.

so, without further ado..

• reptorn - vampires are always a classic! even better when they’re sexy vampires! the art style you use is always really nice to see, and the transition from human to vampire was well done. loved the vibe of the piece as a whole!

• doggomage - the transitioning between scenes was really smooth! i like the idea of the necklace causing her transformation, and how her characteristics transferred really well to her monsterified form.

• man248 - i mentioned in the comments, but loved seeing a character with monster traits get further monsterized. all your images were really well done, both with her expressions and how you did the transformation!

• artfx85 - turning a character into a monster and still being able to recognize their identity, is easier said than done; so i have to give you a lot of credit for that. and of course, love the art style and the unique theme that you went with!

• ninonakano - each character was put in their element depending on their transformation which i really appreciated, and they fit the environment so well! i love how you captured the essence of each of them also with each of their poses.

• smut317 - really enjoyed seeing a video version of the monsterification! it’s always different seeing it animated vs. in images, so i love that you took that approach; there was a lot of attention to detail and setup you chose was really creative!

• mikunakano07 - i give you a lot of credit for how you did a full story, and you did it really well! you did a great job in depicting not only the physical state, but the emotional state too, with how the monsterification affected her. this made it a really unique entry.

• asmodeush0_t3l - the two images painted a really nice contrast between her day and night form; it was clear to see the connection of her identity with the characteristics she maintains in 'human' form. i really liked how you executed this.

• madpowerbomber - you get an A for effort haha, jokes aside, i love the concept of rage gaming being the spark for a monster transformation. i know the styles clashed a bit with seedream, but still really enjoyed seeing it.

each of the transformations were really well done, with how the stages were depicted, and how they were each unique too. the mini stories in your description were also great! they added to the post as a whole; they each had such a different feel and personality to them. i felt that it was really solid all around. and appreciated how you did an opposite transformation at the end too!

i loved the energy of the post as a whole, and of course the philosophical side was something appreciated as well. i always find interest in the question of "good vs. evil", with how many different sides there are to it. i really love how you used it as a theme! each of your images were also really expressive and creative. the cover honestly also blew me away!

this was arguably one of our best transformations from the entry pool. the transitions and attention to detail at each stage, and how you captured it, was really well executed. specifically, the images of the character partially transformed were really strong. the story you included added a really nice touch with how it detailed everything, and it worked really well in combination with the images.

i did mention this before, but i seriously love the attention to detail, (body cracks, eyes, the silhouettes, etc.) and also how you executed the story as a whole. it felt really creative with how everything came together. small secret, i initially put you higher up in the ranks, but it came down to how the character's transformation was more of a transition, as opposed to a monsterification. (if that makes any sense.) but the work you did with your images and the story still really made it a strong contender.

i really appreciated the amount of thought that went into each character, and how you described your thought process for each one. it let me get a glimpse at your creative process, and i like seeing your intentions behind each transformation. all of the transformations were really well done and unique, and each character felt really distinct in their personality.
