Honestly, that number still feels a little unreal to me.

So for this milestone, I wanted to create something that feels worthy of a proper celebration: magnificent warrior women in ornate armor, marked by countless battles but still standing proud, powerful and dangerously beautiful. 🔥

Thank you to every single person who followed, supported, commented or simply enjoyed the madness along the way.

This is my 1000 follower special.
And I hope it feels as glorious as the milestone deserves. 🖤⚔️

AI art 'Farewell, my friend 🪦' with user description 'Before I start with the story, I feel like I have to get this important notice out of the way first:
⚠️ This post does not mean anyone has died in real life. It's just for funsies! ⚠️
Also, I'm sorry for using (mostly) unrelated clickbait as the thumbnail! 🙇‍♂️

— Story time —

The weather couldn’t have been more fitting.
Dark clouds blanketed the sky as rain poured down in relentless sheets, turning the cemetery paths into slick rivers of mud.
Though it was midday, the world felt trapped in cold, grim twilight.

A group dressed in black gathered around a modest tombstone.
Some leaned on one another for comfort, while others stood in rigid silence.
The heavy rain nearly drowned out the soft whimpers of a pregnant young woman wearing a black veil.
Even a few higher beings had come to mourn the loss of BetterWaifu’s greatest close-up artist.

They were saying goodbye to BlackHairedStudent.

His death was an unfortunate accident during the latest police raid on his basement—his stuffing had to be collected from throughout the entire building’s air ducts.

One lonely figure watched from afar beneath an old oak, disappointment clear on her face.
“Stupid Black,” she muttered.
“You were supposed to bring me ultimate despair.
I was a fool to think you could succeed where so many others failed.”
She turned and disappeared into the shadows.

The group lingered until a blinding flash lit up the sky, followed by roaring thunder.
A muffled sound came from the grave.
Suddenly a blue flame erupted from the soil, growing into wild cackling laughter.
Black’s ghost emerged from the flames, floating above his tombstone.

“Who gave you permission to throw such a boring funeral for me?!” he boomed with a wide grin.
“Was it you, my sweet little Nagatoro?”
She stared back in shock.
“If my funeral is going to be made into a post, it should at least feature panty shots!”
He snapped his ghostly paws.
A strong wind tore through the cemetery.
The centipede girl tried to hold her dress down in vain as it flew up.
Nagatoro didn’t even resist—the wind revealed she wore nothing underneath, exposing her pregnant belly and bare pussy.

Black’s expression softened.
“Y-you remembered our promise?”
“Of course, you stupid bear!” A tearful smile broke through her sorrow.
“I just never thought I’d have to honor it at your funeral.
How could you leave me after promising so much, you dummy?”
Black looked taken aback, then furious as his eyes landed on Terror2.
“You!! This is all your fault! You wrote me into this awkward position and how dare you use my precious Sakura as clickbait for your stupid post!”

His ghostly form lunged forward and latched onto his back.
“Feel the wrath of the dead, you backstabbing bastard!”
Blue flames erupted around them.
“Wait—what’s happening?” Black yelped.
“This power… it’s coming from your crown?! Stop! I’m in contr—”

Silence.

When I opened my eyes, I floated in an endless void.
No light, no sound—yet I could see my own body clearly.
A spotlight clicked on ahead.
Black sat there with his back turned.
“I never meant for any of this to happen,” he said quietly.
“I only wanted to create cute and sexy images of my favorite anime girls.”
He stood and turned toward me, tears streaming down his face.
“For a while everything was perfect.
I’d invite girls, pay them well, film scenes, and tease them a little.
But then I discovered the Close-up Bubble.”
A deep red glowing orb appeared in his hands, a tiny heart pulsing inside.
"It made those perfect shots effortless, but the power grew too strong.
It clouded my judgment.
I broke the rules despite the frogman’s warnings.
You know how it ended.”

His story left a lump in my throat.
“Don’t be too sad,” Black said with a weak smile.
“It was my own choice.
To prove it I’m passing the Close-up Bubble onto you now.
Be better than I was.
Don’t let it consume you.”

He pushed the bubble forward.
Immense power surged through me as it touched my chest, filling my mind with vivid close-up visions.
“Hahaha… that takes me back.”
Wings sprouted from his shoulders and he started to rise.

As I felt our time grew short, I finally managed to speak.
“Thank you for everything, Black!
I’ll never forget your sacrifices.
I promise to keep this power in check!”

“Don’t think of this as goodbye, my friend.
I’ll be watching from above—keep everyone entertained!
Please tell Nagatoro I’m sorry I couldn’t keep my promise.
Watch over her for me. She cared more than she let on.
Oh, and if you ever meet the frogman, tell him I'm sorry as well.
I'm very grateful to him for giving me a final chance."

He faded into the light as my consciousness slipped away.

“…you guys! I think he’s waking up!”
I opened my eyes to Ankha’s tear-streaked face hovering above mine.
She burst into fresh tears of relief.
“Please never scare us like that again!!”

— The End —

@blackhairedstudent, you will forever remain in our hearts. ❤️

⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️
“Well, I've… been a nurse for 6 years. Graduated from nursing school at Waifu University and started working ever since. My husband was a doctor here too, so I was used to spending most of my days here any way. After my husband died I would go home after work to an empty house, so I started taking extra shifts just to keep myself busy. Working kept my mind occupied and helping others gave me a purpose to get out of bed. Then something interesting happened… I realized how much faster patients healed when someone paid close attention to them. You see, sometimes people just need to know there is someone that cares for them. Sometimes they need to express love rather than receive it. Sometimes all they need is to talk, nothing more so I’m here for them. The wounds of the body usually start in the heart. There is no reason for me to be home any more, so I’m here all the time”
“If you don’t mind my asking… What happened to your husband? How… ?”
“He died during ‘The night of the 8’ He was on duty that night.”

Detective Pearl was not expecting that answer.
“Oh! The Night of The Eight…”
"It was my day off but I got an emergency call from my husband. He didn’t have time to explain he just said: Hurry, we need extra hands! By the time I got here it was too late, the break-in had already happened”
”Yes, August 8th. We lost a lot of people that night…” Pearl answers. “I was on duty that night too. You see...I was the one who caught their leader"
”It was you?? You are the one who caught Octavian?!"

FLASHBACK:
A much younger officer Pearl holds up her gun against the enemy.
“Octavian, don’t make me do it!! Please, stop!”

PRESENT TIME:
"Yes. I... caught… Octavian. That's how I got promoted to Detective 1st class"

Pearl gets sidetracked by the memories, but immediately catches herself up and pulls herself back on track.
“Yes, I got that bastard. But I’m not here to talk about old ghosts. I’m here to talk about the patient you received last night” Her attitude and voice stiffs up. Almost as if forcing herself up to be serious and rude.
“Oh, yes, right… uhh, well, about 11:30 last night an ambulance brought in the subject. He was completely naked. No id, no wallet or anything to identify him but his long black hair and his tattoos.”
“Tattoos?”
“He had red flowers tattooed from his lower back all the way up his left shoulder and chest. Most of his body was scratched”
“Probably a large feline, said the report”
“At first we thought that , the size and depth of the marks could match that description but not the patterns. Large felines attack face and neck. It was his body that was injured, not the face and the scratches were in a random pattern. I think he was trying to get away and was running while being attacked. He was delusional and talking in his sleep. He mumbled things like: The lady from First Post, watch out - Lady from First Post - dangerous”
“Lady from first post?” Repeats Pearl.
“At least that’s what I understood. I could have heard wrong. Does it mean anything to you? Do you know what he’s talking about?”
“Lady from ‘FIRST POST’ dangerous… yes, I have an idea. Red Flower tattoos, long black hair. That would be Johnny Astor, he’s the kind of guy who likes to be in the wrong place at the wrong time”
“That’s all I could say, really. Because I was attending his wounds when he got up frantically and just ran away. He seemed really scared”

Detective Pearl has all she needs.
“You have been really helpful Nurse Finnegan, thank you for your time”
“Please, call me Josephine” She smiles at Pearl.
“Josephine, thank you for your time” Pearl smiles back.

Detective Pearl leaves the hospital. As she melts back into the city crowd the ghosts of the past creep back in. Images of ‘THAT’ night come back to her.

FLASHBACKS:
* “Octavian, don’t make me do it!! Please, stop!” She begs. “GET DOWN HERE, PLEASE!!” Tears roll down her face.
* “Octavian, my love, if ANYTHING of what we had was real, I beg you to stop…”
* “I’m sorry Pearly-boo” He says.
* “Don’t … please …. Don’t make me do this…“ Raises the gun at him. “Turn yourself in, please!!! We can work something out TOGETHER! PLEASE!!!” She begs with all her heart.
“I’m sorry baby… it was never supposed to end this way…”
“NO OCTAVIAN!! NOOOOO!!!“

BANG!!!!

The sound of ’THAT’ gun shot resonates inside Pearl still to this day.
