When a vampire's on the prowl for blood, it certainly helps to be in locales where there’s a variety of prey available. Delilah finds that going to drinking establishments suits her needs quite well. Of course, one has to be careful when choosing targets. A prospect that is clearly inebriated (one whose blood alcohol level would certainly get them busted for DUI by the cops) needs to be avoided. Delilah focuses on finding "social drinkers", people who come for a drink or two with a friend, or who just want a drink to smooth out the rough edges of a trying day. Delilah prefers going after men; she finds most men are drawn to a woman with a voluptuous figure (it’s certainly been her experience over two centuries). She sometimes goes after women, especially if the woman in question would be able to satisfy Delilah’s carnal lust. The evening thus far holds promise; there’s a man by himself nursing a drink in a near corner. Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained…
